The No. 4-ranked Athens Christian Preparatory Academy (ACPA) Lady Storm will take on Faustina Academy 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Valley Community College in TAPPS playoff action.

The Lady Storm finished the regular season on a 15-game win streak. They boast a 22-5 record and went 8-0 in district earning a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Friday, I sat down with Coach Ronnie Raines and senior leaders Kacie Wallace and Riley Jackson to discuss the season and the upcoming game. Topics include a look back at the season, playing at a small school, relying on the defense, and the expectations that come with being a state-ranked team.

Kacie talked about joining the 1,000-point club, and Riley discussed having a shooter's attitude.

Coach Raines addressed playing to win at a Christian school and before the end of the interview, even thanked the members of the What's Happening in Henderson County group for their love and support. Hey, followers of Hannigan Media, you're making a difference!

I really enjoyed recording this podcast so I hope you'll listen in as we talk about a range of topics before Tuesday's game.
