The TVCC Cardinals will look to bounce back from two straight losses when they travel to Kilgore Saturday to take on the Rangers.
The Rangers are also looking to get right after dropping four straight games.
"You can't change the past, we can only fix the future," said TVCC Coach Sherard Poteete, "and that's how we've had to look at our season right now."
Coach Poteete said the Ranger offense is very explosive.
"They're going to throw the football deep," he said. "They've got some explosive running backs, they've got a couple of transfer Division I running backs."
Coach Poteete said the Cardinals would have to limit the big plays and try and make Kilgore drive the ball the length of the field.
Offensively, the Cardinals are dealing with several injuries.
"As a team, you just have to have a next man up mentality," said Coach Poteete.
The Cards are hoping to get Jordan Davis back at quarterback to lead TVCC against Kilgore, but that decision won't be made until later in the week.
The Cardinals and Rangers will kick off at 3 p.m. Saturday in Kilgore.
