TVCC wins regular season finale, keeps playoff hopes alive

TVCC's playoff hopes stayed alive Saturday with a commanding 44-21 road win over NEO in Oklahoma. The Cardinals raced to a 31-0 lead and never looked back in their regular season finale.

The win -- coupled with a 49-24 win by Navarro over Tyler Junior College -- keeps the Cardinals playoff hopes alive. The Cardinals have finished their regular season with a 3-4 conference record while several other teams will finish their regular season next week.

TVCC needs NMMI to beat Navarro, and Blinn to beat Cisco next Saturday to earn a playoff berth.
