TVCC Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Honored with Texas Top Chapter Award

Trinity Valley Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapter earned top honors at the Texas Regional Convention, held March 6-8 in Houston. The chapter received multiple awards, including the esteemed Texas Top Chapter Award—the highest recognition given. This award also includes a full scholarship to the Texas PTK Honors Institute in July.
In addition to the Texas Top Chapter Award, TVCC’s PTK chapter was also recognized with:
REACH Award (for membership excellence)
Five Star Chapter Award (for chapter engagement and development)
Merit Award for College Project
Merit Award for Honors in Action Project
Furthermore, the TVCC chapter showcased its leadership by presenting a workshop at the convention and demonstrating its commitment to community service by donating and awarding the Community Service Award.
These accolades highlight the dedication and hard work of TVCC’s PTK members, reinforcing the college’s commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and service.
