Student Veterans Association works with Lions Club

The Trinity Valley Community College Student Veterans Association joined forces with the local Lions Club to kick off cleanup efforts at the East Texas Arboretum and Botanical Society (ETABS) and the Henderson County Veterans Memorial last week.

Lions Club member Rex Pope expressed his gratitude, saying, “We’re so thankful to have these dedicated student veterans step up to serve once again.”

“We are incredibly grateful to the TVCC Student Veterans Association for taking time out of their busy school schedules to lend a hand and support their community." ETABS Executive Director Kristin Willingham shared. "It’s inspiring to see our veterans give back and honor the memory of those who came before them.”
