Shooters Invited to Join Keep Athens Beautiful Fundraiser

Keep Athens Beautiful is inviting teams and individual shooters to take aim at a good cause during its 12th Annual Shoot Out fundraiser, set for Friday, Aug. 8, at 5H Shooting Sports, located at 19105 County Road 4235 in Frankston.
The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and features a sporting clay course. It’s a challenging and fun day outdoors for experienced shooters and newcomers alike.
Registration begins at 7:45 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and lunch and awards at noon. Awards will go to the top three teams, and Top Gun buckles will be awarded to the highest-scoring male, female and youth shooter (17 and under).
The cost is $125 for individual shooters and $425 per four-person team. Golf cart rentals are available for $35, though participants are encouraged to bring their own if possible.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. A $1,000 Presenting Sponsorship includes a complimentary team and name recognition in all event publicity. Additional options include Range Sponsorship ($500), Clay Sponsorship ($250), and prize donations. The sponsorship deadline is Aug. 5.
Funds raised support Keep Athens Beautiful, which organizes cleanups, beautification projects and environmental education. The group has served the Athens community for over 20 years and is an award-winning affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful.
