Lady Cards are Region XIV Champions

JACKSONVILLE -- The TVCC Lady Cardinals rolled over Tyler in the Region XIV Tournament final Saturday, 60-34.
The Lady Card defense held the Lady Apaches to just 12 points in the first half.
TVCC's Taiyanna Jackson dominated the paint on both ends, giving the Lady Cardinals second chance shots with her offensive rebounds and terrorizing any Lady Apache who ventured into the lane. She was named the Tournament MVP.
The Lady Cardinals were led in scoring by Mahoganie Williams, who had 12 of her 14 points in the second half.
