Jon Garrett Racing at Talladega on Saturday
Jon Garrett, the owner of Athens Screen Printing, will be living his dream by racing in the ARCA Menards Series this Saturday, April 23, at Talladega Superspeedway.
The ARCA Menards Series is a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR.
A pre-race party was held for Jon Tuesday afternoon at the Freelancers Cafe on the square in Athens. While not open to the public yet, Paul Benson's Freelancers Cafe will provide competitive gaming, high-speed internet, streaming, food, and drinks.
Jon's race will be televised Saturday on Fox Sports 1 with the race scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. Cheer for Jon in the No. 11 car!
