Hope Springs Water Partners with Mercy Ships to Bring Hope to Women in Need

Hope Springs Water is proud to announce a new partnership with Mercy Ships to provide much-needed menstrual hygiene solutions to women receiving life-changing medical care.
For the past nine years, Hope Springs Water has distributed reusable menstrual hygiene management kits to women in developing countries who lack access to affordable menstrual hygiene materials. Now, through this collaboration with Mercy Ships, these essential kits will be provided to patients aboard the Global Mercy. These kits are lovingly made and prayed for by dedicated volunteer sewing groups near Tyler, Waco, Houston areas and even as far as Northwest Arkansas. Their compassion and craftsmanship ensure that each kit is not just a practical necessity but also a symbol of care and support for the women who receive them.
As part of this initiative, 100 women in Sierra Leone will receive menstrual hygiene supplies alongside their transformative surgeries provided by Mercy Ships. This effort aims to restore dignity and improve quality of life for women who often face significant barriers to menstrual health care.
The Hope Springs Water team was honored to participate in Mercy Ships’ monthly global meeting, which included crew members from both ships, as well as staff at the organization’s headquarters in Lindale, Texas.
