The Henderson County HELP Center is asking for help gathering donations for the children served by Maggie’s House Child Advocacy Center.
“We are always looking for ways to support kids who come through our doors,” said HELP Center Executive Director Leslie Saunders. “The things we’re asking for may seem small, but they help kids feel safe and cared for.”
Donations can be dropped off at Maggie’s House in Athens. Items needed include:
Journals or drawing pads for teens
Pens and pencils
Coloring pencils
Fidgets
Card games for teens and pre-teens
Teen or adult coloring books
Anything fun or comforting for boys and girls ages 3 to 17
For questions, contact Debbie Stanley at 903-675-4357. Maggie’s House is located at 808 N. Prairieville St.
