For centuries, theaters worldwide have relied on the “ghost light”—a single light left on in a darkened theater to ensure safety and ward off misfortune. Embracing this tradition, the Henderson County Performing Arts Center (HCPAC) is proud to launch its Ghost Light Campaign, a new fundraising initiative aimed at illuminating the theater’s main stage with updated lighting and systems to enhance performances, engage audiences, and support local talent.
Through the Ghost Light Campaign, HCPAC aims to raise necessary funds to modernize its lighting equipment, which will allow the center to continue offering high-quality theatrical experiences to the community. These upgrades are essential, not only to elevate the visual elements of each production but also to expand the educational and artistic opportunities that HCPAC provides.
"The Ghost Light Fundraiser will be a beacon for the Henderson County Performing Arts Center, allowing us to continue bringing arts and culture to our community,” said HCPAC President Beau Humble. “Every donation supports local talent, educational programs, and the vibrant experiences that make our center a gathering place for creativity and connection in Henderson County and surrounding areas."
HCPAC invites the community to join this effort to brighten the future for Henderson County’s artists, educators, and audiences. By donating to the Ghost Light Campaign, supporters will not only be investing in essential upgrades but also in the future of arts and culture in the area. Help us light up our Ghost Light and keep the magic of live theater shining for years to come!
