County Judge issues statement on water conservation
Several of the area water suppliers are having difficulty maintaining normal operating pressure levels as systems come back online. These pressure levels are important to ensure that water is available for all homes that have experienced water outages over the last few days. The water systems will not return to normal operations until the systems can fully pressurize, and this will require the assistance from the public.
After the recent loss of power and water for most of us in the area over the last several days, the urge to stockpile water is understandable but counterproductive to the goal of refilling the water systems. We ask that all individuals allow for the water systems to return to full capacity before placing large demands for water. This will ensure that everyone enjoys the benefits of a fully functioning water system.
