Burn Ban Extended 30 Days
Henderson County Commissioners extended the burn ban 30 days during their weekly meeting Tuesday morning.
After updating the numbers on Tuesday, the average Keetch-Byram Drought Index (KBDI) value for Henderson County was 763 with a high of 784.
There were only four counties in Texas with a higher average KBDI Tuesday:
Falls - 766
McLennan - 764
Robertson - 766
Williamson - 767
