Athens Chamber of Commerce presents awards at Gala
The Athens Chamber of Commerce held its 2022 Gala Friday night at The Nightingale Events center.
Congressman Lance Gooden was the guest speaker for the evening.


The awards for the night included:
CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
Eldress Mary Henderson of the Church of the Living God was named the Athens Citizen of the Year at Friday night's Chamber Gala. She was presented the award by the 2020 recipient, Freddie Paul.
CHAIRMAN'S AWARD
Hope Springs Water was named winner of the inaugural Chairman Award at Friday night's Athens Chamber Banquet. The award was based on Hope Springs Water's response to last year's massive winter storm and providing water to emergency services, nursing homes, and other businesses when supplies ran short. Pictured are Outgoing Chairman Beau Humble and Hope Springs Water Executive Director Bliss Nelson.
MEMBER OF THE YEAR
Kevin and Jeaneane Lilly's McDonald's was presented the Member of the Year Award at Friday night's Athens Chamber Banquet. Pictured from left are Kevin Lilly, Jeaneane Lilly, and Outgoing Chamber Chairman Beau Humble.
AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR
The Athens Chamber Ambassador of the Year is Stephanie Gade of KCKL and The Morning Sizzle. She was presented her award by Outgoing Chamber Chairman Beau Humble.
