Athens Athletic Booster Club Looks to Build on Successful Year

With more than 5,000 volunteer hours logged last year, the Athens Booster Club is more than just a support group—it's a family. Join the fun today and help make the 2024-2025 season the best yet for the Hornets.
An Individual Booster membership is $50 and provides an all sports pass for any regular season home game for all sports throughout the year. A family membership is $75 and includes two all sports passes, with each additional pass available for $25. Grab a pass, skip the lines, and support the Hornets.
"Our Booster Club is all about community," said Booster Club President Chris Tinsley. "The support we provide to our athletes goes beyond just the field or court—it's about fostering a sense of pride and unity in Athens. We're excited to see even more community members join us this year."
Last year's Booster Club achieved remarkable results and made significant contributions to the Athens ISD athletic programs.
Some of the highlights from the 2023-2024 Athletic Booster Club year include:
-- OVER $78,350 TOTAL INVESTMENT in athletes and programs including cross country and tennis warmups, team shelter for soccer, pitching machine and fence padding for softball, NOAH system for basketball, powerlifting warmups and strength and conditioning uniforms for football, new catchers outfits for baseball and softball, and air conditioning units for indoor batting facilities.
-- $10,000 TOTAL IN SCHOLARSHIPS to nine senior athletes: Gage Friedrich, Anna Kidd, Brett Horn, Jaxon Stiles, Lindsey Carrizales, Dakota Autry, Nathan Garcia, Kevin Cerrillo, Taylor Mycke.
-- OVER $6,250 SPENT on items specifically for middle school students.
-- 825 PLAYOFF SHIRTS purchased to support the eight varsity sports that advanced past district.
Athens Athletic Booster Club sponsors play a crucial role in enhancing the athletic experience for our students. Contributions not only helps provide essential resources and equipment but also fosters a sense of community and pride in our local sports teams.
Hornet Gold Level Sponsor ($1,000) -- As a Hornet Gold Level Sponsor, you will receive two custom quarter zip pullovers and two custom polo shirts. Additionally, you will be granted four all sports passes for regular season Athens home athletic events and four reserved seating vouchers for all home varsity Hornet football games. Your generous support will be acknowledged monthly on Athens Athletic Booster social media, with announcements at home football games, recognition in the football program, and at the athletic banquet.
Hornet Silver Level Sponsor ($500) -- Becoming a Hornet Silver Level Sponsor includes two custom polo shirts, four all sports passes for regular season Athens home athletic events, and two reserved seating vouchers for all home varsity Hornet football games. You will also receive recognition in the football program and at the athletic banquet.
Hornet Bronze Level Sponsor ($250) -- The Hornet Bronze Level Sponsorship offers one custom polo shirt, two all sports passes for regular season Athens home athletic events, and recognition in both the football program and at the athletic banquet.
