Anderson Drug and Gibson Pharmacy Join Forces to Become Anderson’s Gibson Pharmacy

Anderson Drug and Gibson Pharmacy, two of Athens’ most trusted independent pharmacies, are excited to announce their merger under the new name Anderson’s Gibson Pharmacy. Beginning Monday, January 13, 2025, at 8 AM, all operations will consolidate at 600 S Palestine St, Athens, TX 75751.

This merger marks a new chapter for the pharmacies, allowing them to combine their resources, expertise, and personalized care while continuing to serve the Athens community with excellence.

Key Transition Details:

• Anderson Drug’s final day of operation will be Saturday, January 11, closing at 2 PM.

• Starting January 13, all prescriptions, services, and staff will be available at the new Anderson’s Gibson Pharmacy location.

• Todd Fowler, a beloved team member, will join the new location, continuing to provide the exceptional care customers know and trust.

Local doctor offices have already been notified of the transition, and there is no action required for patients. Customers simply need to pick up their medications at the new location starting January 13.

• Monday-Friday: 8 AM - 6 PM

• Saturday: 9 AM - 2 PM

• Sunday: Closed
