2024 HCLS Queen and Princess Crowned

The 2024 Henderson County Livestock Show queen and princess were crowned Sunday afternoon, opening this year's show.
This year's Queen is Cloey Saylors and the Princess is Shelby Sinclair. They are joined by Queen Runner-up Emily Hobbs and Princess Runner-up Brooklynn Nelson.
2023 Queen Macayla Burnett and Princess Keltyn Arnold were on hand for the crowning.
Other Queen contestants included Dylann Hillhouse, Madyson Rickman, and Carl Vasquez. Princess participants included Piper Gillert, Maggie Lane, and Harper Ward.
These contestants compete in a series of events for the honor of representing the Livestock Show.
Saylors won the Scrapbook, Western Attire, Speech, and Miss Congeniality categories in the Queen competition. Hobbs won the Modeling and Interview categories.
Sinclair won the Scrapbook, Modeling, and Improvisation categories in the Princess competition. Nelson won Miss Congeniality. Sinclair and Nelson tied for the Interview portion. Lane won the Western Attire category.
Princess contestant Piper Gillert was injured in a riding accident early Sunday and was unavailable for pictures. Brooklynn Nelson said a special prayer for her before the crowning ceremony and carried Piper's red hat in the photos to represent her.
